Security Policy
ModSage recognizes the importance of providing our valuable customers with a safe, hassle-free shopping experience. Committed to achieving this goal, we have taken rigorous measures to make sure that every transaction you make on ModSage is 100% safe.

ModSage works hard to ensure that our systems are secure and that they meet all industry standards. Where appropriate, we employ firewalls, encryption technology, user authentication systems (e.g., user names and passwords) and access control mechanisms to control access to systems and data.

Every time you shop at www.ModSage.com, you are backed by a security guarantee. When you shop with us, you shop on our secure server, which encrypts, or scrambles, all of your personal information. ModSage uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) with the industry standard 128-bit encryption technology to protect the information that you submit, ensuring that no one can access or use your personal information. This technology protects visitors from having their information intercepted by anyone other than ModSage while it is being transmitted.  Our 128-bit encryption is implemented with a secure certificate.

Hacker Safe Protects You Against Identity Theft & Credit Card Fraud
You may notice the "Hacker Safe" logo in the upper right corner of our web site; however, you may not know what this means.  Hacker Safe is an independent third party company that scans our web site everyday to make sure that it is safe for you to shop. ModSage pays Hacker Safe for this service. The "Hacker Safe" logo with the date underneath it means that the Trilogy web site is tested and certified daily to pass the FBI/SANS Internet Security Test. The "live" HACKER SAFE mark appears only when a web site's security meets the highest security scanning standards of the U.S. government, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB.

We are a Network Solutions certified site and you can click on the SiteSafe/Network Solutions logo to verify our certificate and identity during the Shopping Cart process.

To view the security certificate for www.modsage.com, proceed to the Checkout area and click the secure lock in the Status bar of your browser.

Network Solutions also implements an advanced security method based on dynamic data and encoded session identifications, and hosts the services in a secure server environment using a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders.

Another cool trick to knowing if you're in a secure area is to check the URL. You'll notice that the address to the left of the colon changes from "http" to "https" when you're on a secure server.
